I have the TKO sitting next to the car, but what I am wondering is will I be slower with the same 3:42s and if so how much more gear will I need.

 

correct me if i'm wrong, but i think the tko has a 3.27 1st, that's steeper than the 3.08 in the 700. my 84 had the 3.73's in the rear and i wheel hopped somethin' awful and 1st was useless for me, looked good though(fenders all bouncing in the breeze). i put 2.7*'s in and 1st was a lot more usefull, i'd get traction and distance, so i don't think you'll need more gear unless ur goin for strip times and using slicks.

i just tore up my t5 in my gta, i'm lookin to put a tremec in,, did u get yours from fortes?
