which gears
I have a 3.23 gear in my car now.I kinda want to go higher cuz i think its holding me back on getting the full potential out of my car now.I was thinking about either a 3.42 or a 3.73.My car has pretty good bottom end now but i want more.I also have to keep in mind about my transmission not having overdrive. This car is also my daily driver on nice days.well any ways, thanks for ur help.

Sorry about that, the question was that should i either keep the 3.23 i have in it or go to a 3.42 or 3.73.

Well i havent really paid that much attention to what it peaks at but i would say at about 4500 to 5000.Thats just a rough estimate.I havent taken it to the track yet so i dont know what it traps at.

You actually have it backwards. You want 3.73's with the auto and 3.42's with the T-5. It has been proven that T-5 cars run quicker with the 3.42's. Either of those gears will yield you nice results. 3.42's are a great street gear for auto's and manual alike. 3.42's wont shift your powerband to high and should retain all of your low end.
