Right now I have a built 700R4, but I have a Dayco TC. I'm thinking once I finish my carb swap and put good tires on it, I'll blow the converter(done it once before) Should I keep the 700R4 and buy a good converter for it or get a TH-350 or TH-400 and a converter for them? Does anyone know where I can find the gear ratios for each of these? Also who makes a good converter for these trannys? Will it cost as much as a good 700 R4 TC? My friend is going to do a TH-400 anything special about this swap? Also is there a good book or video for building these trannies yourself...I'd like to learn more about them and do some of my own work. Sorry about the bombardment of questions guys, but thanks in advance for any help you can provide.
