Is anyone running a manual/automatic setup, i think it is the kind of setup the pro stock cars run. Is this a streetable to thing to do, or is it strictly for drag racing? When i watch them shift in the races they just push the stick forward and pull it backwards to shift through the gears.

 

For the 700R4?, leave it automatic on the street.

 

What those guys run has nothing to do with an automatic transmission.

It's a 4-speed manual, one of the race-only ones that will shift while under power, with a shifter that's driven by compressed air.

Obviously, not applicable to a street car; unless you want to install some sort of air compressor in your car.
