can I use a deep trans pan?

My trans just wont seal, I have changed the gasket several times but it keeps leaking out of the front passenger corner of the pan. And is causing soft shifts

I thought about getting a deep one so in case its my pan that has something wrong with it that I can't see or if it is something else even if it still leaks from that corner it wont matter since the filter will be lower and would still get enough fluid.

But will a deep pan be too low?

Take a look at your stock pan and note if it has any scrape markes on it. If it has these marks stop and think what a deeper pan will endure.
