t-56 install help please
ok guys i am doing my swap, started tonight and things have all been going real smoothly. I have run into one problem and that is where and how to mount the clutch master cylinder onto the firewall. my car didn't come with either holes or dimples for reference. can anyone get a somewhat decent measurement and possibly a little info on how to go about doing this?
Thanks
James

Mount your pedals. They should have the 2 outer holes for where the u bolt goes lined up. Drill them holes.
Then in the middle of them, drill a 2 1/2" hole for the master cylender. Thats how we did it on the 2 I've helped do so far.

I used the 4th gen pedal assembly as a template, because I found it easier to drill from the engine bay than from inside the car. You can figure out where the holes for the master cyl should go in respect to the holes for the brake booster. I was really **** and used a ruler and a compass. It lined up perfectly. Then do as Kat said and put the big hole right in the middle.
