I've been messing about with the car constantly since I got it nearly 3 years ago. Indeed, it has far more hp and tq than it did when I got it. Recently though I have been noticing that when it warms up and I've been out driving it for a while the shifts aren't as firm as they were when I just started the car.

Does this sound like it's on the way out?

whats your fluid look like?

 

Not sure off the top of my head. I'll have a look and post back tomorrow. It's 2am here and I'm up for another 12 glorious hours of work in 7 hours.

Did you ever get the shift kit etc fitted?

Have you changed the trans fluid / transmission filter since you acquired the IROC?

 

Fluid got replaced when the engine was out about 18 months ago.

Shift kit not installed. Have no idea where that stiff is supposed to go. Will post about that tomorrow though. This not shifting into 4th is getting annoying.

 

I checked the fluid. It looks good. It's not black, just a little bit discolored.
