clutch replacement - flywheel
Yeah. You will have high and low spots on the flywheel from the clutch. That needs to be milled flat or you will fry the new clutch pretty quick and have bad problems with slippage. If possible, have it milled, not turned. Milling will give you a flatter surface with less hot spots.

machine shops, some napa stores or similar stores like that. you will need to ask because not all can do flywheels

having your flywheel resurfanced does a few things,
it makes the entire surface flat and uniform, so that the new clutch disc can wear into its own groove.....not interefere with the one created by the old disc.....
also, it removes alot of heat damaged material that is discolored on the surface.
if the flywheel is in really good shape (not all burned up) you shouldnt have to remove much material

yep, about 25 bux here too at both and the napa's that do it have a machine shop in them.
