Can it take the power?
Can it take the power?
My friend just got his '85 camaro (~45k miles) done with a 355 and auto tranny. A conservative rating for this engine is 350HP at the crank. Well last night he blew the front seal on the trans and is getting it fixed, not even with a rebuild. I think he's on the way to breaking something else and now he tells me he's putting a 100 shot on it! Is this going to blow something up very very soon like I think, or is he ok as long as he doesn't spray off the line?

It's dead. I'm estimated at about 350 RWHP and totalled my professionally rebuilt trans (built for more power) after 4,000miles
