What's the difference between a camaro and mustang t-5?

Transmission: T-56
Axle/Gears: Moser 9" 4.11 Gears
What's the difference between a camaro and mustang t-5?

Actually it's a question for a co-worker. What's the difference between a mustang and a camaro t-5. Other than the obvious bellhousing. What are the similairities and differences in the box itself and gear ratios.

Very little, other than things that fit them to their respective cars.

The main parts of everything are the same; same diameter shafts & gears, etc. The Mustang gear ratios tend to be wider than the GM ones. A V8 Mustang trans has about the same ratios as a 6-cyl GM one.

The splines on the clutch gear and the mainshaft are different.
