how do i change from auto to stick

i have a basically stock 86 iroc 305 tpi. i want to change from my 700r4 to a manual transmission. i need to know what transmissions would be the best and or easiest to install. Also what steps and equipment will i need to do this project. Pretty much every detail needed to do this.
ANY INFORMATION WOULD BE GREATLY VALUED

Try a search on Gearbox swap or t5 swap or t56 swap.Thers lots of info here
