Vibration Until I push in clutch
Vibration Until I push in clutch
Hi,
Maybe somebody has had this problem. At freeway speeds I have a bad vibration. the second I push in the clutch or put it in nuetral it goes away. Im thinking it could be the pinion angle but here is what I have
T56
spec II clutch, resufaced flywheel when it was installed
poly motor mounts and tranny
fabricated my own tranny crossmember
dennys driveshaft high speed balanced
4.10 richmond gears with zexel torson and aftermarket axels
Yesterday I replaced the draglink, idler, ball joints, rod ends and tires and had it alighned and balanced.
I have not yet replaced the bushings on the trailing arms They have a lot of play.
Any Ideas Thanks

It can't very well be the pinion; it doesn't stop when you push in the clutch.
Possible causes:
Possible causes:
- Unbalanced flywheel - did you have it balanced after it was surfaced?
- Unbalanced clutch - not too likely, but not impossible, get it checked when you get the flywheel balanced
- Bad harmonic balancer
- Bad pilot bushing/bearing - did you change it when you put in the clutch?
