This is for the normal wiring of the 700-R4
I know when you tap the breaks, it should unlock, and also when you give it a lot of gas. When you drop to a lower speed I'm guessing it also will unlock.
Right now after my TCC locks up, anytime I let go of the gas completely, it unlocks. So if I'm going 75 on the freeway, and it's locked, and I let go of the gas, it unlocks. This is not normal is it?
I thought the ECM will read info from the TPS, and other sensors and determine when to unlock it. Shouldn't it be able to cruise for a little bit at 75 miles an hour without throttle and still stay locked up?
Could the wiring be wrong or something else, or is this normal. I know it is not me shifting into third because once I feel it unlock, I have put the car into Drive from OverDrive and then I definitely feel it shift to third... so I'm pretty sure it's the TCC unlocking.
Anyway, any help you guys can provide would be great.
Thanks.
