why would you have to cut the floor, if you have a 4-speed manual, there should already be a hole there from the old shift, it might need to be enlarged a little bit, but thats no big deal.
now if you have a 4-speed automatic, then its a different story.
as for the 4spd to 5spd swap, you need the pedals, the hydralic clutch linkage, the tranny, the bellhousing, a new clutch plate (26 spline), and a shifter.... i believe

You'll need to change the bellhousing, as the T5 mounts at an angle, while the Saginaw or T-10 in the 82 mounts straight across. Two options for this: Lakewood makes one, but costs over $200 (I forget exactly how much - $230 rings a bell); or, get a hard-to-find T5 bellhousing out of an 83 - it is drilled at the angle for the T5 plus it has provisions for the mechanical linkage.
You can switch over to hydraulics by changing the clutch pedal arm, enlarging and drilling a couple of holes to mount the master cylinder, but it's a pain in the cramped engine compartment unless the engine is out. You'll also need to swap the clutch disc and use a driveshaft from a T5 or 700R4 Camaro/Firebird.
I swapped to the hydraulic system when I did the V6-V8 swap in my 83 Camaro.

If you are still looking I found an 83 Belinetta in one of the local yards with the complete 5spd mechanical linkage setup. They want $550.00 for it though.
