tranny bulletin?

I was changing my spark plugs today and stared at a sticker while it fell on my face. It says:

Before disassembly see bulletin:

CHEVROLET 89-64-78
PONTIAC 89-7-10

Call 1-800-###-####

What exactly is in this bulletin? I might call the 1-800 number, but I'd rather not do that.

It was located on the bottom of my T-5 in a '90 Firebird

The number was 1-800-356-7301 and its for Borg-Warner automotive. Basically, BW was trying to gauge what kind of problems were being experienced in the field, so they put the sticker on there for you to call them before the technician attempted repair. This only applied to 1988-1991 Vehicles w/ the 5-speed transmission, under factory warranty.

Why wait untill Monday? You can acess all the same stuff from home as you do at work. Are you a member of the SI Forums?

So I should call that number and tell them I changed my clutch out a month ago Plus I should tell them that their sticker almost landed in my eye

Thanks for the replies!
