ring and pinion install

Can anyone give me a few links that explain how to install gears in a 10 bolt? I was particularly looking for a step-by-step guide basically. I'm not mechanically inclined so I feel confident I can perform the task, I just need detailed assistance. Thanks!

i seriousely doubt you can preform a gear install. if you're not mechanically inclined i also doubt you have many of the tools required to preform the r&r. have anything like a depth mic, mag base and indicator, press, bearing seperator, dial type in/lbs torque wrench, caliper or mic? look in your manual it ought to have all the info you need, plus the gear makers pack instructions with their gear sets

LOL!!!

Dude, I feel like such an idiot! I met I AM mechanically inclined! LOL. Ok well, will the manual give steps on how to do it? What manual should I buy because I don't have one? LOL, I've worked on engines before and I've delt with small tranny problems so I feel with a lot of research and the right tools I can do it!

Thanks for pointing him in the right direction, ede. The article on that site is a little old, but it should get you in the right direction. Next rear-end I set up, I'll update it w/ more info and pictures.
