vigilante 9.5" vs daaco 10"?

I am about to put my tranny in the shop. I currently have a daaco 10" racing converter and was wondering if it would be worth it to plunk down the money to switch to a vigilante. i want to get the most 1/4 mile time out of my car. Any advice appreciated!

Thanks,
Tanner

How big of a difference can I see? I think that vigilante claims up to 4/10ths off from a stock 12" converter, but the daaco is a 10" and similar stall speed. Any ideas?
