My Turbo 350 will not auto shift

Car: 1988 Camaro IROC
Engine: 350 TPI
Transmission: 700R4
Axle/Gears: 3.27 9 bolt posi (non 1le)
My Turbo 350 will not auto shift
If I shift it manually it will shift fine. And tight I might add. However If I leave it in "D" It will not shift, up or down. Someone once said it was because of a vaccum line.. If so where is it and how do I fix it??
