kickdown cable and torque con. lockup
Ive got 2 probs....
My car doesnt shift from 1st to second until 3 grand and when it does its whiplash inducing!I found out that my kickdown cable is broke and that the sensor to my torque converter lockup isnt even connected.I have no idea way not.
Is the kickdown cable a driveway fix?
Should the torque sensor be reattached? The garage just tied it out of the way.
Thanx.

It is a TV cable, not a kickdown cable as in a TH350. It needs to be adjusted correctly to make this transmission work correctly and live. Yes, reattach the TC lockup wiring, without it it will/might overheat the transmission.
