what tranny to use?

i have a 91 3.1 camaro i recently bought a 76 350 chevy rebuilt longblock now i'm looking for a transmission what is the most reliable and which is compatiable? 700r4, 2004r or the th350? thanks

700r4 would be the easiest swap. But a turbo350 may be a better swap if your gonna be making lots of HP and want a cheaper, strong, and reliable tranny. Having that extra gear never hurts tho...

Transmission: 89 WC T-5
It depends on how the car will be used. If it will see significant time at the track and will still be driven on the street I would suggest the 2004R. Simply because the gear ratios are closer than the 700R4.
If mostly street driven and little track time I would recomend the 700R4.
If it is going to be strictly a strip car then I would go with the TH350.
The 2004R can be rebuilt to hold lots of power and torque, just ask the GN guys with their 3.8 turbos.
