ok,i have converted many autos to man.it is as hard to do as you make it find a good donor car you will need the clutch/brake pedal assy.the slave cyl.clutch master cyl.drill the mounting holes in the firewall from inside, the flywheel(get resurfaced)new clutch, spend the 12.00bucks for the needle bearing pilot bearing dont use that brass one with clutch assy.,cut your hole in the floor use a template so it looks and fits correctly, the benifits of this swap are middle of the road, these trannies do not like to dogged but i have many times and rebuilt maaaannnnyyyy t5s,world class t5s get a spare trannie!!1/4 mi. heres the benifits my 88 iroc was an auto w/3.27s and 17s with comp TAs,hooker headers, custom 2.5"y-pipe,stock intermediate pipe,97 ssLt4 muffler, cut out air boxes w/custom fabbed ram air this car would run 14.4s all day did the swap to 5spd and went back to the track and ran a 13.77@103 in vegas thats not bad for a VIRGIN,88 5.7s are weak as well as the 86 5.7s chevy tried different cams and head combos for smog purposes, the 92 i did was the biggest pimp at sea level on m&h racemasters 13. 00s could not hit a 12.99 for nothin, cam & heads changed that,12.60s
