do i need a tranny ?

i have an 86 iroc and recently it feals like it has no power . it shifts into 3rd really weird . when it shifts from second to third it jumps about 300 to 400 rpms before goin into third , it takes about a half of second to 1 second till it goes into third , and also by my e brake handle is a noise , it sounds like air is coming from it , if i push it down as hard as i can the nosie kinda goes away, but as i drive it kinda gets a little bit nosier as im accelarating , but if i let my foot off the gas the noise starts to go away . what is this problem ? i also cant burn no rubber no more , i used to be able to hold the brake and punch the gas and it would light them up ,but now if i hold the brake and punch the gas it just revs to 1000 rpms and wont go any higher , what are these problems can anyone help me please !!!!

You may want to do a search for "TV cable adjustment" and adjust you TV cable. I'd check the fluid also.
