Well the subject pretty much says it, does anyone know anything about how to do this, I've got a .500 valve and zero idea where it goes and how to install it. Thanks.

 

There is a snapring on the bottom of the pump by the filter inlet that is the same size as the TV valve. The TV lineup is above it.
If the TV valve won't come out with a magnet, you may have to put the pan back on and fill with ATF, start the engine and run the
transmission through the gears. The pressure should blow the TV system parts into the pan. I've never done this, but it has been done by some on www.turbobuick.com. I've read that it is very hard to put it back into the pump while the trans is in the car.
Imagine that!! BTW, make sure you have the right size of snapring pliers, a filter kit, and a case of fluid on hand.

 

yes, it can be a little stubbor to get in, but it will go. I just stuck my finger up there and kept pushing it up a tad untill it came out. Also, make sure that the snap ring is locked in place when your all done. Mine wasn't and I got about 3 parkign spaces before it blew out into the pan, thus proving the theory above
