i just installed a 2400 holeshot and now when im driving at any rpm it revs up before you feel the acceleration. is this normal?

It's not going to feel "tight" like your stock converter, sounds like it's working normal to me so far. When I gun mine, the rpms shoot up then the car takes off. Like if I were putting around town at 35 mph, my rpms would be fairly low say around 1800. If I step on the throttle, those rpms would jump up to 3500 then the car would really accelerate. Those numbers aren't exact but it's just to give you an idea.

It'll do that too if you're convertor or tranny isn't filled up with fluid. If you just put it in, I'll bet that's you're problem. You'll have to keep checking it too until it stays at the same level.
The looser convertor also won't feel as "tight" (as EvilCartman said) since it's a higher stall.
