Weird problem in reverse

When I am in reverse, and I accellerate any more than a crawl, the whole rear of the car feels like it is bouncing very bad. I have no idea why it does this, any clues?

I have the entire Spohn suspension package, a Moser 9" posi rear, and a custom rebuit 700R4.

Try checking your transmission mount.

It's brand new. I just had my transmission rebuit two weeks ago. It did it before, and it is still doing it.

Could it be that the bushings on his LCAs are worn out?
Just a guess, but I am not sure if that would even cause this...

I would start by inspecting the rear end suspension (all of it) for worn bushings, bent parts, missing parts, worn parts etc.

I agree. I don't think this problem has anything to do with your transmission. If it did you would most likely have the same problem in 1st gear, because low and reverse run off the same band.

Check all the bushings, u-joints, ect. Oh, and also check the trans mount just to be sure. Jack up the tailshaft of the trans and see if the mount seperates. I highly recommend swapping to the Energy Suspension poly mount if you haven't already.

I don't think it has anything to do with the tranny either. Was figuring more rear end and MAYBE the suspension.
