Transmissions and Drivetrain Need help with your trans? Problems with your axle?

Had to pull engine with converter attached...

I pulled the 305 that was seized from my 91 RS. I had to pull the converter attached to the engine, where should I look for possible damage to the tranny?

Transmission: T56, 5-speed, 700R4, C4, T176, semi-auto 2-speed
Axle/Gears: 3.73, 3.90, 4.88, 3.55, 3.54, 7.00
It shouldn't have hurt the trans. I've done it before, and nothing was wrong with the trans. I even yanked the input shaft out of a C6 once by accident. Put it back in and it was fine.

Replace the torque converter seal before you put the new engine in.........

Yeah, you should always do that. Even if nothing was out of the ordinary when you pulled the motor. It's cheap insurance against a leak.
