I need a 28 spline 7.6" 3d gen rear

ok guys.. here's my situation...

my IROC needs a Torsen T2R differential.. Torsen only makes those differentials for 7.6" GM rears...

currently i have a 9bolt...

so basically.. i need a rear end that can mate up to the Torsen T2R ...

What years is the 7.6", 28 spline, 10 bolt available? i gotta hit the junkyards

i'm also assuming from what i have read from my searches on this subject that my current DISC brake system(9 bolt) will work on the 10 bolt.. is that correct?

thanks for any help

any 10 bolt from a thirdgen would work and you'd just have to swap in the correct carrier and axles.

I've got a 1990 10-bolt rear I'd sell cheap, but I see you are in Texas, and I'm in Arizona.

does that '90 rear of yours have discs or drums?

ouch, 250 for moser axles.. i can't use them anyway.. axles have to be stock or as close as possible

You can probably get a set of stock 28 spline axels for $180. The Moser ones are nice though. I'm running them right now.
