advice on a one wheelpeel

I have a 1990 firebrd with a l03 and 273 open rearend.I don't have money for a swap just yet.I was wondering what I can do to put more power to the ground right now?Any tricks? I have gotten both wheels to spin before, mainly in a good spot on the asphalt.

I'd go with the Lower Control arms and maybe an alum driveshaft, saves rotational mass and are getting cheaper/easier to find I just scored a 3" LS1 shaft for 75 bucks! Also when I put an msd 6A box in out of the light felt a little nicer. You could go over your bushings and replace the worn ones with poly as well

nope perfect fit it's 3" rather then 2.75" for the 1LE shaft and lighter by half a pound, and has a factory balancer, supposed to be the best balanced factory shaft

it did wonders for my RS, pulls to 100+ with virtually no vibration.

As far as putting power to the ground, an aluminum drive shaft is basically zero bang for the $$$$ with a stock L03 drive train. Total waste of money.

What you need is a posi and some gears.

Go to the junkyard and find yourself a 90-up rear end out of a 5-speed 6-cyl Camaro or Firebird, MAKE SURE it's 90-up, so you get the 28-spline axles. It should have 3.42 gears. Then put the $99 SLP posi in it.

That will cost about the same as an aluminum driveshaft, and you'll get a 3.42 posi out of it. Huge improvement in the car, instead of something you probably won't even notice.
