B&m + Th700r4

Just wondering, what is your guys opinion on the B&M's 700R4 crate trans from their website? I'm looking for a good 700R4 (new or remaned) to rig to a new 350 that I want to drop into my current 89 RS that currently still has a 2.8 and a bad trans.

Mostly just wondering what people have had in experiences with B&M and their rebuilt transmissions?

Probuilt.

If not Probuilt, grab a TCI streetfighter. B&M is mediocre stuff - dissapoints a lot of people.

... seriously tho, Probuilt.

Cool thanks, Probuilt seems to be a few hundred cheaper on the costs as well. Also, could I go with the same drive axle say if I wanted to use the TH350? I hear vs. the 700R4, you loose overdrive, but as I am tight on money at the moment I was just wondering.

That's exactly what i'm doin today as a matter of fact, u need a th350 with the 9" tailshaft to bolt right in without getting a new driveshaft made. I paid 30 for the "core" and 375 to get the trans built. I went this route because it's alot cheaper then a 700r4 I don't need the overdrive, and i got burnt locally last time on a "built" 700r4.
