looking for STOCK depth pan w/ drain plug & fins

no luck with a search. i've started the tranny removal project and after almost bathing completely in ATF i decided to order a new pan with a drain plug to replace my bent one.

1. my current pan is pictured here. doesn't look factory and measures 3.5" from ground to gasket surface. is this deep or about stock size?

basically i want a pan with drain plug and tubes or fins but not deeper than what i have now. i have little clearance under there and dont wanna bent another pan. everything i see listed is "deep" but am not sure how deep compared to mine.

TIA

That pan is deeper than stock... Even the area above the tubes looks deeper than stock but its kind of hard to tell from the photo...

The Moroso pan doesn't have any fins but has drain plugs and will provide you with the best seal everytime!! Fabbed aluminum with a nice billet rail... MMmmmmm... Here's a pic of mine...

Oh and be careful if you end up getting a deep pan with fins.. It would probably be a cast aluminum piece (all of those type that I have seen are) and won't simply dent on impact.. More than likely it will crack and that would suck!! Stock depth is where its at for these cars...

i posted a pic from another angle. im not sure if it's deep or not. my current pan is dented pretty badly on the bottom so i need something of strong material in case i do hit again. even if i can't have fins i'd settle for stock depth and a drain plug.

That pan is definately deeper than stock... I was just questioning how deep the actual fluid area was.. With those tubes in there it would have to be at least an inch deeper, looks to be a little more... Lemme see if I can find a stock depth for you...

EDIT: Here we are... 2.375" from the bottom of pan to top of rail.. Straight from Moroso's site: P/n 42025

Yeah I looked at that one... I'd go for the Moroso one.. At only $119.95, its a helluva lot better quality than any other pan I've ever seen... Plus, you won't have any problems with it sealing, and the aluminum will probably help dissapate heat as well as those cooling tube dealies...

Oh, and you won't hit stuff with it because its stock depth...

sounds like a good item but $120 is kinda high. im also planning on getting a converter, servo, the tranny seal, rear main seal and front timing cover seal that's leaking again. do all that while tranny is out. i dont think i can go higher than $80.
