Why don't you buffer the T56 signal to a 4004 ppm signal and feed it to the DRAC box instead of feeding 2 outputs from the SGI box? That will feed your ECM, speedo and cruise with less work. I think.

i dont understand? i have my pink wire from the harness for the vss going in to the "sig out " on SGI box, so instead i should have signal out wire just be from the cc buffer (yellow box attached to my ecm ) or is that what your callikng a drac?

I might be missing something but is sounds like you're trying to do

T56 >-- to SGI --> out to ECM and out to speedo in two different formats.

I could be wrong because I don't own a Firebird

But the way I understood the MAF / electric speedo cars to work was

VSS at tranny >-- sends signal to DRAC module --> which feeds the 4004 ppm DC signal to the speedo cluster and the 2002 ppm AC signal to the ECM.

Why not set up your car like this:

VSS at T56 >-- into SGI box to change signal down to about 4004 ppm --> to DRAC module which will feed everything like stock.

I set mine up like this (IF I'm remebering things right):

VSS - wire A to "sig. in" on SGI
VSS - wire B to chassis ground
12 acc power to power on SGI
Chassis ground to ground on SGI
"out 3" on SGI to ECM

I could be wrong, but thats what I remember. The six speed has been in the car for a couple of years now.

i'm using out 3
vss signal wire is in the sig in slot
vss sig out wire is in out 3
power is in power and grounds are appropriately mounted

i'm thinking that the cruise being removed is why my sppeedo is not getting a sig.

what do you guys think?

Nope. I think you are not getting a signal because you are using VSS wire B for signal in when you should be using wire A.

Try using the OTHER VSS wire for signal in.

Two wires come off the VSS. One goes into the SIG (signal wire coming from vss). The other goes with the ground. It should not matter which VSS wire you use for the SIG or ground.

if the SGI box is recalibrating the signal from the LT-1/T56 vss to tpi vss connector doesnt that end up at the drac and ecm

whats the flow of informantion?

vss output signal > ecm> drac> speedo in dash

the VSS also aids the IAC , i would think the sig would go to the ecm first right?
