Engine: 305
Transmission: TH-700-R4
Axle/Gears: 10 bolt with 3.23's and SLP Posi.
Dial Gauge?

i have a dial gauge but how am i suppose to use it. is there a special braket i need to hold it in place or what? if so can you point me in the direction to get one?

i use the kind with the plunger in the back set it aginst the ring gear tooth, try to keep it squared up aginst the tooth. i use a mag base. sounds like you need a base. what kind of lug does it have, how is it made to attach?

the thing that moves in and out and chages the dial has a threaded portion above it about a half inch long thats what i connects with i think.

should be an attachement lug of some type o nthe back. if not then you'd need a base with kit for attaching indicators without lugs. what kind is it? model number? if it's a cheap one might be easier to buy another with a mag base.
