high rpm jump, no power
I have a freshly rebuilt 350 small block and th-350c tranny.
WHen I am going around 50 km/h and I stomp on gas, the kickdown cable does its job and downshifts and the rpms instantly jump which is normal...however, that is ALL THAT happens ,,i keep going the same speed as before WOT and the tranny just screams but there doesnt seem like there is any hookup until a slight pull 2 seconds later..
what could be causing this?

Does it happen at all speeds or just that one speed? If its just that one speed its prolly just one worn clutchpack. If its all id start looking at the torqueconverter.
