Rebuild Questions
Which rebuild kit would you all recommend: B&M, Hughes Performance, TCI Master Racing Overhaul Kit, or TCI Pro Super Overhaul Kit?
Also, would it be a good idea to recalibrate the governor and install a kickdown kit?
TIA
John

I would recommend the Pro-Built rebuild kit. Based on some thorough research it appears to be the best 700R4 kit on the market. It is pricier than the kits you mentioned, but it comes with more parts (shift kit and pump guts among others), and all the parts are matched to produce a trans capable of supporting 575 HP.
Do you need higher RPM shifts? If so then recalibrating the governor is the way to get them. If the engine is stock or close to it I'd say leave it alone.
A kickdown kit is also up to you. Do you cruise at high RPM on the highway, preventing you from remaining in 4th gear? If not then you wouldn't really get any benefit from it.
