I am debating pulling out the TCC check ball in the input shaft to quiken the TCC apply. Does anyone have any opinions?

With a 12" TC then you want to use the checkball retainer with 2 slots in it, instead of one. This will double the supply of oil to the TC. If you take out the checkball with a 12" TC it will hit to hard, and can do damage to the TC. If it is a 9.5" or 10" TC, then it is ok to remove it, and might even help a little. Almost all of the late checkball capsule assemblys come with the 2 slots.
