The car is a 91 firebird with stock 700r4, changing to a TH350 with a 9" tailshaft. I bought the HUrst adapter kit, #530-550-0001 in Jegs. It says "82 Camaro/Firebird and up". The instructions say "82-89 Camaro/Firebird". The shop I having it put in at says the bracket doesn't line up. They specifically mentioned the VSS doesn't line up. What else Im not sure, I need to go over there tomorrow and see. I do not see more than one HUrst or B& M adapter kit in the Jegs catalog. Does this one have to be modified? if so how?

Cant help you there I bought the B&M Kit hor my 84.Might want to call Hurst tech line for help

 

VSS = Vehicle Speed Sensor. TH-350 doesn't have one, it uses a mechanical speedo drive.
