what ATF do you run in your T56?

what ATF do you run in your T56?
i wanted to run mobile one syn ATF, but i cant find it anywhere.
where can i get it? or what else should i use?
this is the ONLY thing left... i just pour it in the shifter hole, put the shifter in, and i can drive her. i just cant find mobile 1 ATF anywhere

Odd, usually I can find it every where even walmart. I'd personally forget the ATF and run down to the dealer and get syncromesh, all dealers even fNord have thier own versions of manual trans oil all better then ATF all safe to run in your T56.

GM reccomends ATF... dextron II and III really...
my understanding is Mobile1 is factory fill in vettes, and possibly in the 4thgen fbodys.

The tag on the side of my tranny just says to use Dexron II so even the cheapest ATF I'm sure is fine. I've heard of some people running Honda ATF, though. Not sure what the benefits are.

honda ATF is mobile 1 synthetic... its a PITA to find a place to buy mobile 1 ATF, but honda places are everywhere, and its cheap enough..
