Cable Driven Trans to VSS
I've got a question about putting a cable driven trans into a car equipped with vss. I have a 92, with the vss in the 5 speed, and i want to put a 5 speed from an 86 into my car. how do i go about hooking up the vss to this to get it to work correctly. i'm planning on doing it on wednesday and just now realized this minor problem. Oh yeah, and before evryone starts telling me the world class is the better tranny, the one i'm putting in was built to handle around a 350-400hp 355. any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Axle/Gears: ones that turn.
If they are both T5's, then the sending unit on the trans will swap right over. Just make sure the new trans has the same color drive gear so your speedo will read correctly. Assuming it was before.
