Bowtie Overdrives TV made EZ Kit

Has anyone tried this kit? I just ordered it to hopefully get my car to shift properly. I just put a Demon 650 on my car and since it has never sifted right. I took it to a transmission shop and the bent the hell out of the stock bracket to get it close to where it needs to be so hopefully this will remedy the problem. Here is the kit if no one has seen it.

I haven't tried it, but I've looked at it. At first I wasn't too impressed with how they made the mounting point adjustable. I thought that was just asking for trouble since there's supposed to be no room for adjustment in the TV cable geometry. Then I read their installation instructions and they actually get you to verify line pressures with a gauge so it seems pretty decent. I still might try it someday, but they don't make a dedicated kit for my carb and I don't know that I'd want to pay that much if I have to modify it anyway.

Well the kit is on man does it work great!!!! I did not use their cable due to the fact I could not get to it on the tranny end. I will take pictures of the kit to show what it looks like installed. I got my down shifts back and up shift 4500rpm WOT. It took a hell of a lot longer than 20min to install!!!!! Took me 30min to remove all lines and the carb first time I have ever removed a carb. Took me 2hrs to remove the old TV cable/throttle bracket. The damn distributor blocks the last manifold bolt. I bent the old bracket into a pretzel so I cold get a wrench in there and inched the bolt out. They forgot to drill holes for the throttle bracket they supplied in the kit and I didn’t have a drill where I was working so I had to drive the car to my house with no throttle! The car would only cruise at 5mph took me 30min to drive a couple of blocks!! But the new kit took no time to install and adjust. Total time 3hrs for someone who has no idea what they’re doing but the result was well worth it!!!

A cuple of notes thats not in those do it your self manuals!

1. Do not tip the carb to one side while removing it fuels spills outa the bowls!!! makes a big stinky mess.
2. Make sure the fuel lines are tight b4 starting the engine getting squirted by the carb and smeeling like gas all day is a no no.

Man was it a fun cuple of hours!
