Transmission: 700R4

Axle/Gears: 3.42

700 R4 Shifter

How do you get the shifter off of the shaft on a TH700R4? I want to remove the ash tray and shift indicator and the shifter is getting in the way.

Pull the button out and there's a circular clip underneath.
