Anyone kill a t-5
its mostly due to having a better than stock 350 for example and using slicks to hook at the track.
that extra traction with a clutch drop might not help put the t-5 to much.
u mostly have to run a search on here, people state what they have and some say the wc t-5 holds up so and so; other will say i broke it with a stock engine doing so and so.

From: out of my mind; be back in 5 minutes....
Car: 1989 Firebird Formula
Engine: Internal Combustion
Transmission: Completed
Axle/Gears: ones that turn.
The T5 in my then-V6 powered SC was dead when I bought it; it had been run dry of fluid, the input and output shafts had welded together, and chewed the teeth of the transfer gear on the input shaft.
