Engine: (L98) 350 tpi
Transmission: 4 speed automatic with overdrive
Electronic trasmition

I have a question?, i had a 87 gta, does it has an electronic automatic trasmition or it is full hydraulic? Because i know that the throttle is electronic but i want to know if the throttle sensor affect the trasmition.

IŽll apreciate any help?

Its almost entirely hydraulic. Your torque converter lockup function is computer controlled thou.

Your throttle is still a mechanical unit. The tps just tells the cpu how far the pedal is pressed down. It doesnt give input to the trans. The trans gets throttle position from the TV(throttle valve, on the trans) cable.
