My tranny (700R4) is shifting harder these days. Sometimes it seems that it takes longer (more RPMs) to shift than it does at other times.
A friend of mine mentioned that my "Transmission Modulator" may be going out. I didn't know if this was something I should check or if he was pulling my leg.

Is there anything external I can check/replace on the tranny that would cause these problems?

Also, the filter & fluid was replaced last year.

Any info would be appreciated.
