nobody is using that pan ??? it is a steel pan with tubes running through the bottom of it for cooling.

Its just my opinoin, but I believe they are just a gimmick. If you are looking for added oil capacity, just get a deep pan. If you are looking for more cooling then get a tranny cooler.

I am using the A/C condenser for a tranny cooler on my T/A, and I am not routing it through the radiator. With a 2700rpm converter, a 95 degree day, and a lead foot, I don't think I will need to heat the fluid up at all.

There are quite a few running this pan with no problems, unless you have your car lowered in to the weeds or bagged you should be fine. Mine arrived from summitt couple of weeks ago, have yet to install it on my GTA , but after searching this site I found it is a definite plus on cooling with no side affects.

That said I have on of these on a highly modded s-10.......believe me when I say it works almost to good on cold days, of course my s-10 probably has a lot more airflow under it due to ride height. But yeah it definitely cools the tranny.

im using the derale pan. it's been on the car maybe 2 or 3 months now. quality appears to be good. no leaks. comes with drain plug and filter/gasket. if your car is lowered you will most likely bend it like i have done already.

which is why i went with steel instead of aluminum. but overall im happy with the product.
