Hey Guys I need some advice from someone who has performed this upgrade. I have an 84 Recaro 5 Speed (original) That has been modified to a 350 from an 87 GTA. It has and Edelbrock intake and headers and a street cam pushing almost 400HP mounted to a brand new(3 weeks old) Centerforce II Clutch. This has blown the T-5 Trans just under normal wear. (Im not a speed freak...) This trans is a POS! I have been told by 3 shops in 3 different time zones that the T-5 was crap and couldnt handle even a moderate performance load much less what Ive got and that the solution is to mount a modern 6 speed. What trans should I mount and what other parts(adapters ect.) will I need?
