9" i think, the longer tail shaft th350. drive shaft length isn't really that big a deal if it isn't right.
edit: should of said drive shafts can be cut down or made longer

I'm pretty sure that tranny is the short 6'' taiulshaft.
With a 9'' tailshaft th350 you can even reuse your crossmember. All you'd really need is that crappy b&m changeover kit, and a TC. Everything else would work.
If you can afford it I'd get a new spohn torque arm. I'm going to eventually.

Go to http://pro-built.net/index.cfm?fusea...&productid=193 and see if this is what you want.

I thought you couldn't make them longer, only shorter.Originally posted by ede

Probuilt...do you all offer a th350 with a 9'' tailshaft?

I think the tail shaft is easily changed. I believe you can find them in 1980s chevy trucks and vans were the 700r4 was optional. That would be starting in 1982 and going to 1990 or so.

You cannot just change the tailshafts on a 6'' and 9'' th350. The actual output shafts are different sizes on the 2 transmissions.
