Transgo shiftkit

I bought the big transgo shiftkit and i hope to get it in there soon.
Will it reduce the power loss from the engine to the back wheels? If so how much?

I don't think it is going to increase the power to the wheels. It will shift faster and get the power to the wheels quicker but it will not increase.

i was told by a local shop that the trans go shift kits are good but are pain to install. the owner of the shop said that you have to be very precise on its installation or it'll screw ur tranny up. and that's exactly what happened when i let another garage in town do it for cheaper, they didn't install it precisely and about 500miles later, im out another 1k for a rebuild. so be careful if you install the kit yourself.

I have a friend who has done it 2 times with good result so i guess it will turn out ok.

Hopefully the car will fo a better time 0-60mph since it will change gear faster and more firmly.
