will a 4th gen rear end fit 3rd gen?

Will a rear end from a 99 camaro fit my 84 camaro? If it will, will it fit easily or will there need to be a large amount of work. Let me know, thanks.

Yes, a 4th gen rear will fit in a thirdgen. The 4th gen rear is wider though.

yeh....it swaps all fine...the biggest bitch for me was brake lines....they dun like to come loose...and if you use your stock 3rd gen wheels, i personally think it does not look bad at all. it brings the wheels pretty much even with the top of the fender flare thing...all my friends said it looked badass...and no we are not rednecks
