Do I need a tranny cooler?
I'm putting in a TH-350 with a Transgo Shift Kit and a 2500 stall converter.
I have an 82 stock LG4, and the car is just a weekend cruiser, it's not raced or anything. One day I might put in a mild 350 engine, but the LG4 stays for now.
Will the rad cooler be good enough for now, or should I get a tranny cooler? Will I need one if I get a 350?
Thanks! :hail:

I don't think it matters what size engine you have really. With a high stall convertor I would be installing a tranny cooler on there.

i was always told that anything over 2200 stall needs a trans cooler. i would get one since they're cheap and lower temps considerably which equals longer trans life.
