Should TV Cable Only Click Once?

I am in the process of adjusting my TV cable on my 700R4. I have done all of the steps but I just have one question. After I press the button, adjust the cable, and release the button, and then move the throttle to WOT, it will click once when it gets really close to WOT. All of the directions I have read says that it will ratchet through. So, basically, if it just clicks once, is it OK and adjusted properly?

Its an automatic adjustment....it may only click once because some 'teeth' are worn out. So long as your throttle was ALL THE WAY open, and the adjuster did click, you are probly ok. That setting is only a baseline anyway...after you drive it you may need to move it around to get the shifts to feel right.
